HOW TO GET HERE
To get to Stanage travel north 75km past Rockhampton on the Bruce

No,
you don't have to travel to the top end to find the Last Frontier! It's
all at the secluded Township of Stanage. Snuggled on the Queensland
Coast just north of the Army Training area Shoal Water Bay,
175km north east of Rockhampton. Stanage also known as Stanage Bay, was
Captain Cook's second landing in Queensland. He named the water ways
Thirsty Sound, when he came to shore in search of fresh water but none could
be found, thus the name, remains today.
